OCIM receives two awards from the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Colombia

The Universidad Militar Nueva Granada has awarded Laurent Mathiot, Chairman and CEO of the OCIM Group, the University Merit Medal in the Grand Cross category, the highest distinction awarded by this prestigious academic institution based in Bogota, by unanimous decision of the Sustainability Observatory Committee.

The ESG award was also given to OCIM in recognition of all the actions carried out by the group in favor of artisanal miners in Latin America.

The award ceremony also rewarded in the Grand Cross category Judge Jorge Enrique Ibanez Najar, President of the Constitutional Council, Judge Octavio Augusto Tejeiro Duque, President of the Supreme Court, and Judge Luis Alberto Alvarez Parra, President of the Council of State. The ceremony took place on 25 July 2025 in Bogota as part of the celebrations markingv the 43rd anniversary of the founding of the Nueva Granada Military University. These awards highlight OCIM group’s commitment to social and economic development and the protection of natural ecosystems in South America, particularly in terms of the sustainable use of water resources.
