OCIM publishes its first annual report, covering the 2025 financial year

2025 was the group’s operational founding year

Published 26 June 2026 . Reading 1 min

2025 was the group’s operational founding year. In April, two processing plants were acquired in the Arequipa region of Peru. In May, OCIM was admitted as a full member of the LBMA. In December, its new Peruvian subsidiary, Soleil Metals, completed the first traceable delivery of artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) gold, received by a Good Delivery-certified refiner.

This report documents these milestones, presents the group’s structure, and outlines the model that underpins it: compliance with banking standards applied at the source, traceability, and long-term business relationships with our ASM mining partners based on fair pricing and structured technical support. It details the financial performance for the second half of 2025, the compliance framework implemented in the field by Soleil Metals, and the ESG framework within which we operate.

This is our first report.

The environmental data is incomplete, and some data sets are still being compiled. The 2026 report will include Soleil Metals’ first consolidated environmental baselines, a full year of operations, the results of ongoing accreditation audits, and the initial steps of our strategy to build a responsible, integrated, and geographically diversified gold producer.

Building a responsible gold value chain: lessons from Peru

Artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) accounts for nearly 20% of global gold production and provides a livelihood for approximately 20 million people worldwide. And yet, ASM gold remains structurally marginalized in the supply chains of major refiners.
