Leonor Chamorro Chirinos
Financial Manager

Based in Lima, Leonor oversees the finance function of Soleil Metals SA, acting as the financial liaison between the Accounting team and OCIM Group Senior Management, and reporting functionally to the Group’s Head of Treasury & Operations.
Leonor is a Certified Public Accountant with over 19 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, treasury, financial reporting and management control across multinational companies in the mining and industrial sectors. She leads the preparation and analysis of the Group’s consolidated financial statements, gold export profitability management, and the corporate reorganization and compliance processes associated with the Group’s operations in Peru.
Throughout her her career she has held senior finance roles at multinational mining companies with diversified operations across gold, copper and tin, including Minera Barrick Peru (Head of Finance, with regional scope across Peru, Chile and Argentina), Southern Peru Copper Corporation and Minsur, as well as regional finance coordination experience with a Shared Services Center at Ingredion Incorporated. She has strong expertise in IFRS and US GAAP, SAP implementations, financial process automation and leading high-performing teams.
She holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, a specialization in Accounting Sciences from the same institution, and further training in IFRS (Deloitte), Finance (Universidad Esan) and strategic mining management (Gerens Graduate School).
